During the third quarter of 2022, the top five navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform in Qatar saw varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into the app market performance.

Google Maps observed a fluctuating download trend, starting at around 3.5K downloads in the last week of June and peaking at 4.1K in mid-July. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to approximately 2.1K. Weekly active users for the app remained relatively stable, averaging around 257K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a consistent download pattern, maintaining around 1.3K to 1.5K weekly downloads, with a slight dip in mid-September to 1.1K. Active users also displayed stability, averaging approximately 150K, though there was a notable decline to 142K by the end of September.
